We were the successful winners of the hydraulics package for the Berrimah Farm Science Precinct. Jaytex Constructions was our client for this which comprised of a new field services building. The building is divided into two wings: a laboratory wing and an administration wing. The laboratory wing is dedicated to livestock and plant research, and features a post-harvest lab equipped with a sophisticated drying room containing two large ovens for processing plant samples.
We installed several hundred metres of 450RCP storm water pipework, which removes large volumes of trade waste from the science laboratories. We also installed the sewer system, dilution pits and grease traps. This advanced facility will establish Northern Australia as a center of excellence for agricultural research, diagnostics, and pest and disease monitoring.
